Knitting Swaps

I have just had my first experience at being part of a knitting swap by joining the Monkey Pal Sock Swap. What a great experience it has been. I have been looking at the site everyday to see what others are up to and this has given me lots of ideas that I can use in future. I received these gorgeous 100% wool hand knitted socks from Chrissie in Singapore along with other cute items such as a monkey head thimble, lovely bookmark and stitch markers. It has been just great and I recommend it to others if they haven't tried it yet.

Sockamania

I have just received my pattern for the Sockamania Club Knitalong. I am sure I will not have any trouble knitting one sock, but two could be a problem as I suffer badly from the second sock syndrome. Anyway we will see how the first one goes and take it from there.
